How to reduce radiation exposure?
No mater what you do or where you are its likely you are surrounded by electronic & wireless radiation everyday. This could be using technology as part of your daily life or using technology as part of your work. Wireless technology is everywhere and we have all become dependent on it as part of our daily lives. But by following some simple changes you can decease your exposure everyday:
- Where possible reduce the amount of time you spend using technology
- The more distance the better, radiation reduces significantly the further you are away from the source. Keep technology away from your body as much as possible
- Use your phone on speaker where possible
- Put your phone in your bag & keep out of pockets
- Avoid phone calls when there is low signal or reception, as your phone will work harder to stay connected when signal is poor
- Use wired headphones keeping your phone away from your head
- Avoid wearable technology where possible or remove when not using it to give your body a break
- If you are not using WiFi or Bluetooth turn it off
- Keep your WiFi router in a separate room, preferably away from sleeping & living spaces in your home
- Set your phone to airplane mode when possible to stop receiving cellular & wireless signals
- Store your phone away from your bed, use airplane mode or switch off

- Build health habits around technology into your daily life and start your kids early. Kids & babies are vulnerable while they grow & develop and have a lifetime of exposure to radiation
